The status of the regulation. When you create a new regulation, the application assigns it a status of DRAFT. |

The person who has responsibility for this regulation. The owner is most likely the contact for questions concerning this regulation and has responsibility for keeping the regulation up to date. If the regulation is workflow enabled, the owner is probably the person used for approval of changes to this regulation. |

Regulation Type |
The type of regulation. Valid values are in the PLUSGREGTYPE domain. |

Technical Authority |
The technical authority who is associated with the regulation record. You can assign a person as a technical authority on the Details tab of the People application. |

Technical Authority Type |
The type of technical authority that this person has. Valid values are in the PLUSGTECHAUTHORITY domain. |

Site |
Identifies the site. |
|
Owner Group |
The group that has responsibility for this regulation. The owner group is most likely the contact for questions concerning this regulation and has responsibility for keeping the regulation up to date. If the regulation is workflow enabled, the owner group is probably the group that is used for approval of changes to this regulation. |

Regulation Number |
The alphanumeric value that identifies the regulation (for example, DOT178). |
|
Regulation Sub-Section |
The subsection of the regulation number for this regulation. The Regulation Number field must contain a value. |
|
Safety Critical Element |
A reference to any element that is critical to safety and that is associated with a regulation. A performance standard that regulates the emission of hazardous substances can be a type of critical-safety reference. |

Regulatory Authority |
The name of the issuing regulatory authority. |
|
Regulatory Region |
The state or region of the issuing authority. |
|
Regulatory Country |
The country of the issuing authority. |
|
Valid From |
The date from which the regulation is valid. |

Expiration Date |
If an expiration date applies, the expiration date of this regulation. |

External System Reference |
The reference number used by an external system to identify this regulation. |

Insurance Requirements |
Specifies whether insurance requirements apply to this regulation. If the check box is selected, insurance requirements apply. If the check box is cleared, insurance requirements do not apply. |

Specifies whether this regulation supports a safety case. If this check box is selected, this regulation supports a safety case. If this check box is cleared, this regulation does not support a safety case. |
